We purchased our first Valais Blacknose sheep in 2020. Here you can see our beautiful ewe's Nellie & Frankie. This breed originates from the Swiss Alps and has grown in popularity in Ireland in recent years.

As we expand our flock in the coming years and we welcome others to share in our experiences.

All- Ireland 2024

The Irish Valais Blacknose Sheep society hosted their All-Ireland Show at Mullingar Agricultural Show on 15th July, 2024. We are delighted to say that Kiki our home bred ewe lamb born from our foundation ewe Nellie won her class and also came home with the Reserve Champion Female sash on the day. Koko our home bred hogget ewe who only turned 1 year old a couple of weeks before the show took home 3rd place in the large class.

All- Ireland 2025

We are thrilled to say that Magic our home bred ram lamb born from our 2024 Champion Kiki won his class, Reserve Champion Male and going on to receive the Overall Reserve Supreme Champion on the day.  Mimi our home bred ewe lamb placed second in the largest class of 19 ewe lambs from around the country.
